Originally from Wisconsin (a.k.a. the Promised Land), I’ve been living in Laos since the fall of 2000. I currently work with a relief and development organization called CAMA Services as the coordinator of their Lao language teaching program. I’ve also worked as an English teacher and for a local silk production company (check out www.mulberries.org).
I love living and working here, not least because I’ve been taught so much by adjusting to Laos–and I’m still learning! I hope that by writing some of these things down my eyes will be kept open to see the goodness of God in my life, and that I’ll be better able to hold myself accountable to these lessons. Thanks for joining me!
